Çanakkale Social Housing District Urban Renovation Project Competition (2014, Purchasing Award)

The brief of the competition required the participants to make design decisions for the central district and waterfront of the city of Çanakkale, encompassing both the urban macro-form level and the level of urban design.
Our proposal is developed around the integration of different modes of transportation: sea, bicycle, and vehicular traffic. The proposed connections are strengthened by the suggestion of a network of urban squares, each of which corresponds to a specific mode of transportation, as proposed in the study.
