Çanakkale Green Urban Square Urban Design Competition (2013, Honorable Mention)

The brief of the competition required the participants to make design decisions for the central district and waterfront of the city of Çanakkale, encompassing both the urban macro-form level and the level of urban design.
Our proposal is developed based on the integration of different modes of transport: sea, bicycle, and vehicular traffic. The relationships are strengthened by the suggestion of a network of urban squares, each of which corresponds to a specific mode of transportation, as proposed in the study.
