Gelibolu Ağadere Medical Museum and Commemorative Cemetary (2012)
Team: Yiğit Acar, Ensar Temizel, İzel Ünsal
The competition project is situated in a historically significant location. The site served as a military hospital during the battles of Dardanelle, and many soldiers lost their lives and were buried there. The primary concept of the project was to create the museum complex in such a way that it becomes a monument in its own right. Additionally, the commemorative cemetery was designed as an abstract land-art piece, intended to generate whistling sounds symbolizing the unnamed soldiers who were laid to rest at the site.
